-Aurea was created by the Goddess Ilena, born out of loneliness. She enlisted the help of three beings -- her caretakers -- known as the Masters of Fate. People are created, kingdoms are formed. Eventually, Ilena can no longer maintain the seasons on her own and crowns the first Season Queens.

-Four Season Queens: Spring Queen, Summer Queen, Autumn Queen, and Winter queen. They hold power all year long, but most of the court disbands when it is not their current season. The queens have their own powers--which are somewhat weakened during certain times of the year.

-Five regular kingdoms: Oran in the South sworn to the Summer Queen, Fimia and Vania by the sea sworn to the Spring Queen, Thaica sworn to the Autumn Queen in the East and Geland sworn to the Winter Queen in the North.

-Windway Wood: A winding forest that separates kingdoms for the most part, Windway Wood is rather dangerous. It is ruled by its king Roman, and it is generally not advised to not travel alone. Many creatures dwell there and many rituals take place. A river called Comet Stream runs through the wood, reflecting the stars at night. Windway Wood -- for an Heir Apparent -- is where they face their magical trial. If they survive the night, they receive their Seasonal magic.

-Everdare: The sea by Fimia and Vania, Everdare is sparkling and vast. The deeper you go, however, the darker the water becomes. There are mermaids out there, and if their sweet songs don’t get you first, the pirates will. However, it’s not rare for either party to steal away pretty women for wives and entertainment. Vania’s port sees a lot of pirates, as pirating is rather acceptable.
